Inspiration

     To me it's interesting to think about what inspires people. Whether it's a piece of art or a novel, something was the inspiration for it. That's the beauty of the arts to me. People are able to take their own experiences and use them to create something extraordinary. Not one form of art is more important than another. They each bring something different to the world. Imagine the world without books. Paintings wouldn't make up for their absence. Just like the images conjured up by words wouldn't be quite the same as paint on canvas or pencil on paper.  
     Personally I find inspiration in a lot of things. The flawless blend of colors in a sunset over the Rocky Mountains. A conversation with a friend. An unanswered question. So many things can be a source of inspiration. Who knows, you could have been inspiration for someone without even knowing it.
